Human tableau, braiding commemorate International Women's Day in Hasaka

The Young Women's Union organized an event in the city of Hasaka, which included drawing a human tableau of the number 8, in celebration of the International Women's Day, in addition to braiding their hair in a scene that reflected unity and solidarity among women.

Within its series of activities commemorating the International Women's Day (March 8th), the Young Women's Union organized an event on Tuesday at the municipal stadium in Hasaka, with the participation of several union members and other women interested in women's issues.

The event included a gathering of young women who formed a human image of the number "8" on the field, symbolizing the date of the International Women's Day.

The participants also collectively braided their hair in a symbolic gesture reflecting unity and solidarity among women. They chanted slogans praising women's struggles worldwide and raised the movement's flags, affirming their commitment to the struggle and their continued defense of women's rights.

The participants emphasized that the International Women's Day constitutes an opportunity to renew their pledge of continued work to guarantee women's rights and enhance their role in all fields.
