Human Rights Organization: Escalation of hate speech against Yazidis

Petricor Human Rights Organization said that it had monitored 3,750 hate speech directed against Yazidis in the past 24 hours. This was due to an inaccurate translation and sectarian interpretation of a speech given by a Yazidi military commander on the tenth anniversary of the Yazidi genocide.

The organization stressed that these offensive statements and speeches, based on false interpretations, only serve to destabilize and ignite sedition in our diverse and interconnected society.

In a statement, the organization called on everyone to be responsible and to be careful not to be carried away by distorted statements and fake news.

It stressed the importance of verifying the accuracy of information and not being carried away by rumors that aim to incite hatred and division.

The organization called on all concerned parties and citizens to work together to maintain civil peace and enhance unity among all components of society. It stressed that "strengthening brotherhood and understanding among individuals is the only way to face challenges and ensure a bright future for our children.
