Guardianship over municipalities undermines people's will
The People's Municipality and residents of Amuda condemned the Turkish authorities' imposition of guardianship over three municipalities in N. Kurdistan, asserting that the purpose of this action is to undermine the will and determination of the people.
The People's Municipality and residents of Amuda city in Jazera Canton denounced the imposition of guardianship over three municipalities in N. Kurdistan on Monday. This condemnation was delivered in a statement read at the municipality building by municipal member Aziza Ahmed.
The statement explained that the Turkish occupying state continues its attacks against the regions of NE Syria and its political eradication efforts in N. Kurdistan.
The statement affirmed that the aim of imposing guardianship over the municipalities of Mardin,Êlih, and Khelfeti is to break the will and determination of the people in N. Kurdistan and to eliminate the achievements they have made.
The attendees, through the statement, expressed their full support for the resistance of the people of N. Kurdistan in facing the eradication policies implemented by the Turkish authorities against them.
