Gerîla TV: 2 qualitative operations of YJA-STAR

The Gerîla TV published  video tape of two qualitative operations carried out by fighters from the Free Women’s Units - Star (YJA-STAR) against the Turkish occupation army in the Khakurk area on August 9.

The scenes revealed the panic and fear that gripped the occupation soldiers following the two operations.

HPG's Media Center reported detailed information in which it revealed its details: “Our Guerrilla forces carried out two operations with specific tactics, last August 9; against the Turkish occupation soldiers who was preparing to carry out a military operation, while they were trying to penetrate the war trenches, which resulted in injury 2 occupier soldiers. Then another specific operation was carried out at 16:00 against the occupiers, during which a Turkish soldier was killed. As a result of these specific operations, the occupiers withdrew without achieving any gains.”

The Media Center stated that the two operations were carried out by fighters of the Free Women’s Units - Star, in memory of the leader Akid Gharzan, who was martyred in the Khakurk region on August 11, 2020.
