French media reported that the Public Prosecutor at the Paris Criminal Court has demanded life imprisonment for 3 officials from the Damascus government on charges of committing crimes against humanity.

And also claimed to keep the international search warrant previously issued against the 3 officials, Ali Mamlouk, Jamil Hassan and Abd al-Salam Mahmoud, in effect.

This came after the Criminal Court at the Justice Palace in Paris held the second session of the trial of General Ali Mamlouk, Special Presidential Advisor for Security Affairs and former Director of the National Security Office, General Jamil Hassan, former Director of Air Force Intelligence, and Brigadier General Abd al-Salam Mahmoud, former Director of Investigation in the Air Force Intelligence branch in Damascus.
