French delegation visits Women’s Protection Units (YPJ)

A French delegation visiting Rojava met with the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ). The meeting was attended by YPJ General Command members Rohlat Afrin and Vian Azar.

On Tuesday, the French delegation visited the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), where they were received by YPJ General Command members Rohlat Afrin and Vian Azar.

The French delegation included Anna Bec, Vice President of the Socialist Party bloc and Head of the Defense Relations Department in the French Parliament, and Dylan Bouteflika, Head of the Foreign Relations Department in the French Senate.

Yesterday evening, the delegation visited the Foreign Relations Office of the Autonomous Administration in Qamishlo, where they met with the co-chair of the office, Ilham Ahmad, her deputy Gulistan Ali, and other representatives of the DAA.

During the tour, Anna Bec stated: “We came here to observe what is happening on the ground in Rojava, to convey the voice of the Kurdish people abroad, and to work on protecting their rights.
