Four bodies found in Sweida, Homs

Four bodies were discovered in separate incidents: two in Sweida and two in rural Homs, under mysterious circumstances.

Residents of Sweida found the bodies of two young men in the countryside who had been reported missing following the Sweida events. Both showed signs of gunshot wounds inside a house located on the road between the towns of Walgha and Al-Mazra’a.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), one of the victims was from Al-Deira village in western Sweida countryside and worked as a driver for the Sweida City Municipality, while the other was from Al-Ajeelat village in eastern Sweida countryside and worked at Al-Qadmus Company in the city.

In western Homs countryside, two young men from Al-Ghawr Al-Gharbi village were found killed inside a poultry farm they were guarding in Burj Qaa’i village, at the hands of unknown armed assailants.

This brings the total number of recorded murders across Syrian cities since the beginning of 2025 to 1,134, including 1,073 men, 39 women, and 22 children.
