Field evaluation of "Enduring Security" Campaign during  72 hours

The director of the Media Center of the People's Protection Units, Siyamand Ali, confirmed to ANHA agency that the operation has achieved positive results so far.

 Ali pointed out that about 200 villages were combed and searched over a geographical area exceeding 100 square kilometers, and 47 ISIS mercenaries and their collaborators were arrested, in addition to seizing weapons and equipments.

 "Today, the forces found trenches that were prepared for escaping out the camp," Ali said.

 He pointed out that the search operations in Al-Hol city resulted in the arrest of 7 ISIS mercenaries and 3 suspects of dealing with them.

 "In the past period, there were movements of ISIS mercenary cells in this geographical area, and those cells tried to reach the camp and launch attacks against the internal security forces and seek to cut off the roads, " Ali added.

 He explained that ISIS mercenaries are trying to open supply lines between Syria and Iraq to smuggle the mercenaries' children and women.

 Siyamand Ali stated that the mercenaries are exploiting the circumstances of the war between Israel and Hamas in order to reorganize themselves again. Therefore, the Syrian Democratic Forces are striving to prevent the mercenaries from reorganizing themselves.
