Feysel Yûsif: Committee will be formed to negotiate with Damascus

The spokesperson for the Kurdish National Council (ENKS) in Syria, Feysel Yûsif, stated that the committee which is to go to Damascus and hold meetings with the Damascus authorities has not yet been formed, and that they will convene soon for this purpose.

Feysel Yûsif, the spokesperson for the Kurdish National Council in Syria (ENKS), spoke to ANHA Agency about the steps following the “Unity of the Kurdish Position and Ranks in Rojava Kurdistan” conference and the implementation of the decision to form a delegation to conduct discussions with the Damascus authorities.

Yûsif clarified that no date has been set yet for the meeting that will be held to expand upon the points raised during the conference, but it will be held in due time.

He further explained that they have not yet formed a committee to go to Damascus and hold meetings with the relevant authorities there, saying:

“There are opinions and proposals, but no final decision has been made yet regarding these opinions and proposals.”
