Fate of Sweida's citizen remains anonymous for more than 2 days

The fate of 54-year-old Nasser Zeidan Abo Ismail remains shrouded in mystery for more than 48 hours after he disappeared following his departure from his workplace at a vegetable shop near the village of Masad roadhead in Sweida on Thursday afternoon.

According to his brother, Nasser finished work at 3:00 PM, then called his wife once, telling her he was heading to the town of Rasas, south of Sweida, to run some errands. His phone then suddenly went dead and completely out of service, leaving no trace of his whereabouts.

The family confirms that Abo Ismail has no enemies or personal disputes and is known for his consistent daily routine, starting in the morning and ending in the evening when he returns home to his house near al-Omran roundabout west of the city. Furthermore, he is married and has three children.

His brother describes the disappearance as "inexplicable," especially since Nasser left on foot and does not own a car, making the circumstances of his disappearance wide-ranging and complex.

With no communication from an unknown party or indications of a ransom demand, the family remains in a state of escalating anxiety over an absence that has no evidence or clear reason so far.
