On the 10th anniversary of the August 3 massacre in 2014, the Yazidi Women's Freedom Movement (TAJÊ) sent a document on the practices of the KDP to countries that recognized the genocide, the European Court of Human Rights, Iraqi Prime Minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani, and the German foreign minister, to try the KDP and all those responsible for the 74 massacre of the Yazidi community.

The EU's response to the Yazidi women's freedom movement read:

"Ladies and Gentlemen:

Thank you for your message and sharing with us the detailed report regarding the tragic events that took place against the Yazidi community on August 3, 2014.

The EU has strongly condemned the violence committed by ISIS and, as a constant supporter of the rights and protection of the Yazidi community, has always tried to protect the Yazidi community and is now leading international efforts to promote accountability for the brutality committed by ISIS.

In addition to your letter, we have received the report you sent, the information and opinions provided in it are very valuable, and when the European Parliament Relations Representative is established in Iraq (D-IQ), we will immediately send your letter and file to the new President-elect for consideration."
