Yesterday, Monday, the Syrian Transitional Government forces bombarded civilian homes and facilities in Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsood and Al-Ashrafieh neighborhoods with dozens of shells, culminating in the latest strike on the Resistance Stadium shared by both neighborhoods.

The assaults resulted in the death of one civilian and injuries to 60 others, in addition to the destruction of water and electricity infrastructure and significant damage to civilian properties. The Resistance Stadium also suffered extensive damage.

ANHA correspondents obtained the names of 20 injured individuals from medical staff and the Martyr Khaled Fajr Hospital, as follows:

Omar Hayani (23), Mohammed Bilal (11), Ali Walo (21), Diar Sheikho Jawish (18), Orjan Haj Othman (18), Abdul Hanan Aliko, Mohammed Jaafar (20), Mohammed Dawood (18), Mohammed Abdo (16), Abdo Aliko (20), Omar Bilal (19), Abdul Hanan Oso (15), Murad Sultan (24), Amina Aloush (40), Jowan Mohammed (18), Suleiman Mohammed (18), Diar Sheikho (17), Ali Walo (23), Aslan Khallo (25), Nouri Hamo (14).

Medical personnel attributed the incomplete documentation of all wounded to two main reasons: the chaotic conditions caused by indiscriminate shelling on civilians, and the presence of numerous volunteer paramedics who limited their record-keeping to numeric counts only.
