Meeting between DAA’s delegation, transitional govt concludes

The meeting between the delegation of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and the transitional government of Syria focused on implementing the terms of the March 10 Agreement and the recent developments, according to sources. The meeting was held in Damascus behind closed doors for several hours.

ANHA correspondent reported that the discussions centered on how to apply the provisions of the March 10 Agreement, signed between the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the transitional government, as well as the latest situation in Aleppo.

The meeting was attended by SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi, Co-Chair of the Department of Foreign Relations Ilham Ahmed, and Commander of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) Rojhalat Afrin, along with transitional government head Ahmad al-Sharaa and Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani.

This step follows a meeting held on October 6 that brought together SDF Commander-in-Chief Mazloum Abdi, Co-Chair of the Department of Foreign Relations Ilham Ahmed, YPJ Commander Rojhalat Afrin, Co-Vice President of the Syrian Democratic Council Ghassan al-Yousef, and Future Syria Party President Abdul Hamid al-Mahbash, with the US envoy to Syria Tom Barrack and US Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Admiral Brad Cooper, who headed a delegation from the International Coalition.
