DEM Party delegation arrives in Southern Kurdistan

A delegation from the Equality and Peoples' Democracy Party and the Democratic Regions Party has arrived in the city of Sulaymaniyah as part of an official visit to meet with various institutions and figures in Southern Kurdistan.

The delegation includes Keskin Bayındır, the Co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party, along with members of the Foreign Relations Committee Bedran Öztürk and Ebru Günay, Salha Aydıniz, the parliamentarian from the Equality Party in Mardin, and Adalet Fidan, the former mayor of Silopi.

During their visit, the delegation is expected to meet with various institutions, organizations, and key political figures in Southern Kurdistan.

This visit follows the previous trip of the Imrali Delegation, composed of members of the Equality and Peoples' Democracy Party and the Democratic Regions Party, to Southern Kurdistan on February 15.

The Imralı Delegation, which visited Kurdistan Region on February 15, consisted of members from the Equality and Peoples' Democracy Party, including Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder, as well as Keskin Bayındır, the co-chair of the Democratic Regions Party, and members of the party’s Foreign Relations Committee.

During that visit, the delegation met with President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Masoud Barzani, Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani, Patriotic Union of Kurdistan President Bafel Talabani, Kurdistan Regional Government Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, and Shanaz Ibrahim, the member of the Patriotic Union’s Presidential Council.

The delegation also conveyed a message from leader Abdullah Ocalan to the political parties in Southern Kurdistan.
