A delegation from the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria met with a delegation from the Finnish Left Party, headed by Veronica Honkasalo, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Finnish Parliament and Vice Chair of the party, at the Left Party's office in Helsinki.

The Autonomous Administration delegation included Abd al-Karim Omar, the Autonomous Administration's representative in Europe; Khalat Dimar, the Autonomous Administration's representative in Finland; and Roliyan Ibrahim, member of the Autonomous Administration's representation in Finland.

The two sides discussed the general situation in Syria and the latest developments since the fall of the Ba'athist regime, as well as the unilateral steps taken by the Damascus government, such as the "National Dialogue Conference" and the "Constitutional Declaration." They also touched on the tragic events that took place on the Syrian coast between March 7 and 10.

The Autonomous Administration delegation briefed the Finnish delegation on the attacks of the Turkish occupation state, including attacks by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries on the Tishreen Dam, the Qaraqozaq Bridge, and the surrounding areas of Kobani. They also addressed a crime committed by the Turkish occupation army against a family in the Kobani countryside, which resulted in the deaths of ten people.

On March 17, the Turkish occupation state bombed a house located between the villages of Qumji and Barkh Butan in the countryside of Kobani, killing 10 members of one family.

The two sides discussed the importance of the agreement signed between the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, and the head of the Damascus government, Ahmed al-Sharaa, emphasizing its role in strengthening understandings.

In a related development, the representative of the autonomous administration in Europe met with the Kurdish and Kurdistani communities in Finland to brief them on developments in Syria, the challenges facing the Democratic Autonomous Administration, and the importance of Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue. The meeting also emphasized the need for Kurdish parties to reach an agreement and work together to form a Kurdish delegation for dialogue with the Damascus authorities regarding the future of Syria and Kurdish rights.
