Deir ez-Zor people: we believe in our cause despite challenges and conspiracies

Member of the Women's Committee in Deir ez-Zor Canton, Sanaa al-Ali, denounced the Turkish occupation attacks against the NE Syria: "We denounce these barbaric and brutal practices of the Turkish occupation state seeking to destabilize security and stability in our regions."

Sanaa al-Ali stressed: “We, the women of Deir ez-Zor, condemn these brutal attacks that target public facilities, vital facilities, health centers, and defenseless innocents in the region.”

In turn, Ali al-Ahmad, member of the reconciliation committee in the Social Justice Commission, called on international powers to assume their responsibilities and put an end to Turkish barbarism and its attacks on the region. He stressed: "The goal of the Turkish occupation state in these attacks is to strike the service infrastructure in the region."

Al-Ahmad stressed the continuation of: “The struggle and confronting these attacks and joining hands to defend our cause and our project. Despite all the difficulties facing us, we have the strength and will to overcome them and achieve victory.”

The Turkish state's attacks on NE Syria continue, as during the period between January 13 and 15, it escalated the pace of its attacks, with drones and warplanes, targeting 80 sites in the region, including infrastructure, service and economic institutions, and destroyed 20 power plants in addition to the only electricity generation center in the entire region of NE Syria, amid shameful international silence.
