Dead, wounded in Israeli attack on Aleppo countryside
At least 12 people were killed, and others were injured, as a result of an Israeli missile bombardment on the town of Hayyan in the western countryside of Aleppo, midnight on Sunday - Monday.
The official agency of the Damascus government said, “A number of martyrs over Israeli aggression on points around the city of Aleppo today.”
The agency reported that "at approximately 20:00 after midnight on June 3, 2024, the Israeli enemy launched an air attack from the direction of southeastern Aleppo, targeting some sites in the vicinity of Aleppo. The aggression led to a number of martyrs and some material losses."
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that "successive strong explosions occurred in the town of Hayyan in the northern countryside of Aleppo, resulting from a missile targeting the copper factory."
Since the beginning of this year, Israel has bombed Syrian territory 44 times, resulting in the destruction of 92 targets, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, centers, and vehicles.
