Damascus forces bring military reinforcements to Deir ez-Zor

The desert is witnessing significant activity by ISIS mercenaries, that attacks sites and points belonging to the Damascus forces and the armed groups loyal to them.

Damascus forces brought in great military reinforcements to the 17th Division in Deir ez-Zor, coming from Damascus, which included military vehicles, armored vehicles, and military vehicles carrying soldiers and weapons, in preparation for the start of a sweeping campaign in the desert in search of ISIS mercenaries, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The desert is witnessing significant activity by ISIS mercenaries, from which it attacks against sites and points belonging to the Damascus forces and the armed groups loyal to them.

The SOHR indicated last February 10 that Damascus forces brought in new military reinforcements from the 17th and 18th divisions and members of the National Defense, in addition to military equipment, vehicles, field guns and ammunition to its military points stationed in the vicinity of the Al-Dabayat gas field in the eastern countryside of Homs, coinciding with the increasing intensity of attacks by ISIS mercenaries in various areas within the influence of Damascus forces.
