The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria commented on the new attack by the Turkish occupation on protesters on duty at Tishreen Dam, and its targeting of the region's vital infrastructure and facilities, through a statement.

In the statement, the Autonomous Administration revealed the number of victims "The Turkish occupation state continues to target civilians on duty at Tishreen Dam and vital infrastructure, as a Turkish drone targeted a gathering of civilians on duty at Tishreen Dam this afternoon, which led to the death of two martyrs and the injury of 20 others, including four journalists."

The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria confirmed that this "brutal attack represents a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws, and threatens the stability and security of the region."

It noted that targeting Tishreen Dam, as a vital facility for securing water and energy sources, exacerbates the suffering of the people and reflects a systematic policy of destroying the infrastructure, carried out by Turkey and its mercenaries.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration called on international powers, human rights and humanitarian organizations, to intervene immediately to stop these repeated attacks on civilians and vital facilities.

The administration concluded its statement by saying, "Long live a free, democratic and decentralized Syria, mercy for the martyrs, and a speedy recovery for the wounded."
