DAA members participate in communes’ work

In accordance with the decision issued by the Democratic Peoples' Council in the North and East Syria, members of the Democratic Autonomous Administration institutions headed to their local communes today and took part in discussions with their neighborhoods. Their activities varied from listening to people's problems and receiving ideological training to participating in cleaning efforts.

Based on the decision issued by the Democratic Peoples' Council on June 28 regarding the work of communes and councils, members of the Democratic Autonomous Administration institutions went to the communes of their neighborhoods today to participate in their work.

Participants engaged in discussions about the concerns of their communities and expressed their willingness to cooperate and help address neighborhood issues. In some communes, explanations were given about how the administration and communes coordinate their work and about the projects the institutions are currently implementing or planning strategically.

In other communes, members of the Autonomous Administration began cleaning the commune's area. In some places, they also read out the defenses of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The decision not only organizes the functioning of communes and councils but also designates Thursday as a day for cleaning and Saturday as a day for participating in commune work. On Saturdays, members of the Autonomous Administration institutions (as part of the administrative work system) will join their local communes for duty.
