The DAA condemned in its statement "the violations faced by the people of Suweida, considering them unacceptable by all national and humanitarian standards, as they target an integral component of the Syrian people and aim to undermine societal stability by intimidating and terrorizing civilians, creating an atmosphere of chaos and division. We believe that what is happening in Suweida does not only target a specific region but threatens the unity of Syrians and their will to build a free and democratic state based on pluralism and diversity."

The statement added, "Experience has proven that violence is not a path to solutions; rather, it only deepens the rift between the government and the people."

The DAA affirmed "its full solidarity with our people in Suweida and the necessity of respecting Syria’s national pluralism, recognizing the rights of all components without discrimination, and avoiding any rhetoric or practices targeting a specific group for political, religious, or ethnic reasons. The Syria we aspire to must be a state for all, without marginalization or exclusion, built on democratic foundations that ensure the effective participation of all its people in managing their country’s affairs."

The DAA called on all Syrian national forces to "stand united to stop these practices and attacks targeting civilians and to work toward protecting civil peace and the Syrian social fabric, which forms the cornerstone of any comprehensive national project."

The DAA also urged all parties to adopt reason and responsibility in addressing the situation and called on "all parties committed to Syria’s unity and the safety of its people to adopt realistic approaches that respect the nature of Syrian society and work seriously to build a modern, democratic political model based on justice, equality, and human rights."
