Cultural institutions, organizations in Euphrates condemn Turkish attacks

In the continuation of the reactions against the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on NE Syria, which targeted 87 sites, the artistic and cultural institutions and organizations in the Euphrates Canton made a statement in front of the Baqi Khedo Center for Culture and Art in the city of Kobani.

The statement read by the joint head of the Directorate of Antiquities, Ali. Suleiman.

The statement indicated that the Turkish occupation state continues to commit war crimes against the people of NE Syria, and its violation of all international norms and conventions, and considers it a blatant crime and outside of all prevailing moral values known in the international community.

The statement denounced the silence of international forces and organizations concerned with human rights: “Through its crimes, Turkey continues its aggressive approach in the face of this shameful international silence regarding everything committed by the Turkish occupation state."

The statement of the Culture and Art Movement, the Union of Intellectuals, the Union of Artists, the Hilal Zerin Movement and the Culture Authority in the Euphrates Canton condemned the ongoing Turkish crimes, and denounced the silence of international powers.
