Crimes claim lives of 10 people across Syria

At least 10 people were killed in various parts of Syria over the past 24 hours in incidents ranging from individual murders to armed attacks.

A former commander in the pro-regime “Liwa al-Quds” militia was killed after being directly shot by unidentified gunmen in the al-Halk neighborhood of Aleppo city.

In As-Suwayda, a woman was killed by her husband inside their home near the National Hospital, while another man was found shot dead near the Mashnaqah Roundabout in the city center.

A fatal shooting also occurred following a quarrel that escalated into armed violence in the Turkish-occupied city of Manbij, east of Aleppo. In Sarmada, northern Idlib, a young man was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle.

In the southern Hasaka countryside, a man and his son lost their lives in an armed family dispute in the al-Dashisha area.

Two unidentified bodies were found near Hawijat al-Sawafi in southern Raqqa countryside, while another man was found stabbed to death and dumped on the seashore in the village of al-Bayda near Baniyas.
