Conclusion of Newroz 2024 celebration in Tabqa

With the participation of thousands of people, the Newroz 2024 celebration activities were launched this morning by welcoming the attendees and inviting them to stand for a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs.

Then, all the Mothers of Peace and the families of the martyrs were invited to light the flame of Newroz, followed by speeches from the Military Council, the Zenobia Women’s Association, and the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Tabqa Canton, congratulating them on the occasion of Newroz.

The words indicated that this day is the day of resistance, struggle and fight against the enemies of humanity, the day of liberation and achieving freedom and dignity, which achieved decent living and not submitting to injustice and insult.

The words stressed the continuation, striving, and fight against all capitalist systems, “and everyone who tries to harm our project, the project of the democratic nation. In the spirit of Newroz and all the martyrs, we will fight terrorism and defeat it so that the peoples can live in freedom, peace, and a dignified life.”
