Casualties, large-scale destruction over Israeli bombing on Damascus

 Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike targeting an apartment in a three-story residential building near Al-Saraya roundabout in the Mazzeh Villas neighborhood in Damascus. Israeli warplanes also launched another airstrike targeting a residential building near Al-Sahaba Mosque in Qudsaya in the Damascus countryside.

According to the Damascus government media,The two raids resulted in the death of 4 unidentified persons as a preliminary toll in Mezzeh, and large-scale destruction of residential buildings and the outbreak of fires, .

 Yesterday, an Israeli attack targeted the Qusayr area in the Homs countryside in central Syria.

Media affiliated with the Damascus government also reported that a series of Israeli raids targeted Shinshar, Jisr al-Daf, Qusayr, and the Dabaa checkpoint in the Homs countryside.

 Since the beginning of 2024, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has counted 149 Israeli attacks on the Syrian territory, 123 of which were airstrikes and 26 were ground strikes.

 These strikes resulted in the death of 288 soldiers and the injury of 245 others.
