Avin Sweid confirms relentless efforts of DAA to support refugees from Lebanon

On September 29, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria formed a crisis cell to receive Syrians coming from Lebanon, in light of the escalation between Israel and Hezbollah. 

Since the announcement of the Crisis Cell, the regions of North and East Syria have received nearly 12,000 Syrians returning from Lebanon, including Syrians holding Lebanese nationality, through two main crossings, one in the Manbij canton and the other in the Tabqa canton in North and East Syria.

As the flow of returnees from Lebanon to the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria continues.

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the region, Avin Sweid, confirmed from the Tabqa crossing that the administration is ready to welcome more returnees.

The co-chair of the Executive Council in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria pointed to the siege imposed on the region, the difficulties the area is facing, and the repeated attacks by the Turkish occupying state. She said, "Yes, there is a siege on us, in addition to the attacks, but the administration provides and will provide everything within its capacity for the Syrians."

Avin Sweid ,pointed out that the efforts made by the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria are being carried out in cooperation with its representation in Lebanon for the return of Syrians.
