Women's voices are rising in protest against the attacks launched by the Interim Government's mercenaries on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods of Aleppo, emphasizing that targeting civilians, children, and women is a humanitarian crime that demands immediate intervention.

In this context, Farida al-Taher Abdel Rahman, from Raqqa canton, affirmed that they will continue their struggle in the squares, rejecting the killing and the war, saying, "We will remain in the squares until the attacks on Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh stop. We don't want killing, we don't want war, but we want peace."

For her part, Arifa Habash, from Raqqa city, stressed the unity of the Syrian people, stating that what is happening is an indiscriminate targeting of all communities. She said, "We, as the Syrian people, will remain in the squares to support our people in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods and stand beside them." She expressed her strong condemnation of these attacks and demanded their immediate cessation.

Arifa emphasized that "targeting the region is an attack on all sects and communities. What is the fault of the women, children, and elderly to be killed? We say no to the killing of civilians, and we will always stand against the enemy. We will not be afraid because we are one people."

For her part, Amal al-Jassem, the head of the Women's Office in the Raqqa Canton Executive Council, explained that their presence in the squares expresses the unified stance of the peoples of North and East Syria, affirming their categorical rejection of these attacks.

She said, "We condemn and reject this war being waged on the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh neighborhoods, and we affirm that the will of the peoples of North and East Syria cannot be undermined."
