At least six people killed, injured by the Israeli bombing of Homs

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the Israeli bombing that targeted sites in the Homs countryside resulted in the killing of 6 Hezbollah members of non-Syrian nationality, as a preliminary toll, in addition to wounding others.

SOHR pointed out that the Israeli strikes targeted one of the Lebanese Hezbollah headquarters near Al-Nabigha Al-Dhubyani School, north of the roundabout in the city of Qusayr, southwest of Homs on the Syrian-Lebanese border.

Violent explosions sounded as a result of new Israeli air strikes that targeted a site near a gas station located in the Auras area between the Al-Assad suburb and Maskanah near the Palmyra roundabout south of the city of Homs. One of the Israeli strikes also targeted a site near Al-Nabigha Al-Dhubyani School north of the roundabout in the city of Al-Qusayr, southwest of Homs. The Syrian-Lebanese border, where plumes of smoke rose from the targeted places.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has counted 40 attacks that have affected Syrian territory, 28 of which were air strikes and 12 ground. These strikes resulted in the injury and destruction of about 81 targets, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, centers, and vehicles.

These strikes caused the death of 137 soldiers, in addition to wounding 57 others, including with varying injuries.
