A report by the Syrian Observatory stated that it monitored many cases of kidnapping and arrest in Syria during the past month, most of which were concentrated in the Syrian areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries and the areas of the Damascus government.

In the details, the report stated that the areas occupied by the Turkish occupation state witnessed the kidnapping of 77 people, including 7 women and 6 children.

It added that the areas under the control of the Damascus government witnessed the kidnapping and arrest of 229 people, in Daraa, the Damascus countryside, Homs, Deir-ez-Zor, Hama, Aleppo, Latakia and As-Suwayda. It documented "the killing of 4 people under torture inside the security detention centers of the Damascus forces."

A report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights indicated that arbitrary arrests and kidnappings are still ongoing in light of the timid international role of the United Nations and human rights and humanitarian organizations working and active in the Syrian file.
