Amuda residents rally in support of SDF and against Turkish attacks

To denounce the attacks of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the region and to support the SDF, the people of Amuda city and its villages held a large-scale demonstration.

The march began at Free Women's Square, with participants raising the flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Democratic Autonomous Administration of NE Syria. They carried banners that read "Let’s Unite Against Occupation," "No to Occupation," "SDF is Our Strength," "Long Live the Brotherhood of Peoples," and "Long Live the Unity of Kurds, Arabs, and Syriacs." They also called for "Kurdish Unity" and chanted "Long Live the Unity of the Kurdish People" while waving the flag of Syria’s independence, echoing slogans such as "We Are All SDF" and "SDF is Our Hope."

Upon reaching Martyr Jihad Square in the city center, participants observed a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs' souls. Mazhar Sheikho, a member of the Popular Initiative, gave a speech congratulating the fall of the Ba'ath regime and said: "We are going through an important phase today, and therefore we must unite the Kurdish ranks to secure our rights in building a decentralized democratic Syria, in line with the philosophy of the Democratic Nation and the Brotherhood of Peoples."

He emphasized, "We must protect the achievements made through the blood of the martyrs by uniting all Kurdish political parties."

The march concluded with chants of "We Are All SDF" and "SDF is Our Hope."
