Al-Khabour Medical Hospital opens in Hasakah

The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of civil institutions, the Council of Elders, councils and bodies, as well as a number of doctors and social figures, with participation from various communities in Hasakah.

The hospital has 12 medical departments, including internal medicine, intensive care, general surgery, cardiac catheterization, urology, nephrology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and neonatal incubators, emergency care, laboratory services and radiology, in addition to outpatient clinics.

The outpatient section includes 14 medical clinics and four dental clinics, with the necessary medical staff provided to ensure services and morning shifts.

The hospital employs 85 doctors, along with around 240 medical and technical staff, and has a capacity of 100 beds.

The hospital has been equipped with a range of modern medical devices and technologies, including lithotripsy, dialysis and cardiac catheterization equipment, as well as eight neonatal incubators and two hyperbaric chambers. It also has equipment for upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy and debridement, an advanced laboratory equipped with modern technology, and a physical therapy center staffed by specialized personnel and equipped with the necessary facilities.

The hospital also has 10 ambulances: three designated for transfers from Hasakah to other provinces, three serving the city, and four covering surrounding areas, including Derik, Qamishlo, Amuda and others.

The hospital also includes a pharmacy stocked with various medicines and medical supplies, supervised by four pharmacists and 10 technicians, as well as a fully equipped medical laboratory featuring modern equipment and technology.

Al-Khabour Medical Hospital aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services to residents of Hasakah and its countryside, while expanding access to its services for patients from other provinces and areas.

The opening ceremony concluded with a tour of the hospital's departments, during which guests viewed its facilities, equipment and services.
