In light of the worsening humanitarian crisis in the city of Sweida and the deterioration of living conditions, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria responded to the residents' appeals and announced its full readiness to send relief and medical aid through the Social Affairs and Toilers Authority.

Despite the convoys being prepared and preparations completed, the aid remains in warehouses, awaiting a safe humanitarian corridor to reach Sweida, according to the Authority.

Information received indicates that there are complications on the part of the transitional government authorities in Syria, which have not yet issued an official response regarding allowing the convoys to enter.

The Autonomous Administration, through the Department of Foreign Relations and the Executive Council, continues its efforts to ensure safe passage for the convoys and ensure their unhindered access to those affected, stressing that this step comes within the framework of humanitarian duty and national solidarity.

In a related development, the Kurdish Red Crescent launched a donation campaign yesterday in several cities across the region. This campaign is part of a humanitarian initiative that began on July 23rd, aiming to support the people of Sweida and alleviate their suffering. The initiative called on residents to participate and contribute whatever they can, emphasizing the shared destiny of the Syrian people and promoting the values of brotherhood and solidarity among them.
