The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement regarding the attack launched by the Turkish occupation today on an Internal Security Forces point in Qamishlo, that reads:

In parallel with the security and humanitarian campaign to control Al-Hol camp and limit cell activity, and in conjunction with the anti-terrorism efforts in which the Internal Security Forces participate, the Turkish occupation launched an aggressive attack on one of the points of the Internal Security Forces in the city of Qamishlo, resulting in 4 martyrs and a number of wounded".

The statement stressed that this attack, as well as the previous aggression, “is in complete harmony” with ISIS activity and in its service, as well as a clear trend towards obstructing the efforts of the security forces in their ongoing operations to control security in Al-Hol camp, where Turkish intelligence seeks with all its activity to support smuggling and chaos operations, and to facilitate financial support for it in various ways.”

In its statement, the AANES expressed its condolences to the families of the martyrs and wished recovery for the wounded, and called on global, regional and international opinion that "Turkey's behavior and aggression prove that it has paved the way for the return of terrorism and strengthening its strength by supporting its efforts to reorganize it. These attacks are also a clear effort to complicate the living situation and prevent the success of opportunities to control and support stability after limiting the activity of ISIS and similar parties seeking to chaos and internal fighting. "

They also held the International Coalition, as well as Russia, responsible for this Turkish escalation because of their ability to limit it, as these attacks come in the context of undermining the efforts of these two parties to control and support stability, stressing that our security forces are continuing their efforts to prevent the return of extremism, harm the security and stability of our regions and the lives of our people".
