AANES reveals outcome of yesterday's Turkish attacks

The Media Department of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria revealed, through a statement, the outcome of the Turkish occupation attacks on NE Syria.

The text of the statement read:

"The Turkish occupation continues its brutal aggression against our people in NE Syria by targeting vital civilian installations for the second day in a row. The Turkish occupation drones resumed the attacks on the afternoon of December 26, targeting several civilian and service sites.

The outcome of the Turkish attacks and aggression on Tuesday, December 2023, was as follows:

- Number of targets by drone: /18/ targets.

- Number of attacks with heavy weapons: /20/ attacks.

The number of civilian facilities that were targeted: 6 facilities, including laboratories, construction companies, a train station, and grain silos.

- Civilian homes that were targeted: two homes.

The number of Internal Security Forces points that were targeted: 10 points in Al-Jazera and the city of Kobani.

In Al-Jazera region, the Turkish occupation army launched 11 attacks, targeting (the northern belt of the city of Qamishlo, and the “Judi” bulgur manufacturing factory in the town of “Karbawi” located south of the city of Qamishlo, and the vicinity of the grain silos in Kari Ziarti Joli (Toiba), west of the Girkê Legê town, the grain silos in the Amuda and the village of “Al-Tawila” in the western countryside of the “Tal Tamr”, the train station in the city of Qamishlo, the “Covid/Corona” hospital in the city of Qamishlo, and a civilian house belonging to the civilian “Hakim Haj Bakr.” In the center of “Al-Darbasiyah” district,  a house belonging to the civilian “Ashraf Al-Kiya” at the eastern entrance to “Al-Darbasiyah”, in addition to a civil construction company in the city of Qamishlo, and the “Alaya” neighborhood in the city of Qamishlo).

In the city of Kobani and its countryside, the Turkish occupation launched 6 attacks, targeting (two checkpoints at the western and eastern entrances to the city of Kobani, an Internal Security Forces checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Kobani located on the Aleppo road, and the checkpoints of Halanj, Sharan, and Shiran.

The Turkish occupation army also bombed the areas of Shahba and the eastern countryside of Afrin, targeting 19 axes, as follows:

The Turkish occupation bombed with weapons and heavy artillery villages in the eastern countryside of Afrin, targeting the village of Binah in the Sherawa, and the village of Maranaz in the Shara/Sharan in the eastern countryside of Afrin.

The Turkish occupation also targeted with heavy artillery the village of Tal Qarah in the Shahba areas. Moreover,  the Turkish occupation targeted With heavy artillery and mortar shells, the villages of Tal Qarah, Um Housh, Samouqa, Tal Jijan, and Tal Al-Madiq in the Al-Shahba areas where the Turkish occupation expanded the scope of its targeting of the villages of Shahba with heavy weapons on the villages of Meng, Bayloneh, Sheikh Issa, Harbal, and Um Housh, Samuqa, Tal Jijan, Tal Al-Madiq, and the vicinity of the village of Al-Wahshiyah, in addition to the vicinity of the town of Tal Rifaat. The Turkish occupation also targeted with heavy artillery the village of Maranaz in the Shara/Sharan in the eastern countryside of Afrin.

The Turkish occupation state continues its air and artillery bombardment on various areas of NE Syria, which resulted in significant material losses, and led to the martyrdom of 8 citizens and the injury of dozens, while the international forces in Syria remain inaction regarding this aggression, especially the international coalition forces and guarantor Russia.
