The information published on the official SDF website stated, "During the evening hours of yesterday, Monday, the Turkish occupation mercenaries attempted to infiltrate the village of "Abduka" in the western countryside of the occupied city of "Tal Abyad". However, the vigilance and attention of our fighters repelled the attack and infiltration plan and it was thwarted.

Our fighters trapped the attacking mercenaries in a tight ambush that was prepared for them, and clashes took place with the mercenaries, resulting in the killing of /5/ mercenaries and the wounding of /4/ others. The clashes with the mercenaries continued for a period, and in the end they were forced to flee.

In order to withdraw the bodies of their dead from the vicinity of the village, and as usual, and after the failure of any attack by them, the mercenaries and the Turkish occupation deliberately targeted the area with heavy artillery and mortar shells until the late hours of last night, and in an intensive manner, where It targeted it with more than 150 artillery and mortar shells, causing material damage to civilian property.
