According to what was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights SOHR, a member of "Lebanese Hezbollah, who is responsible for the transfer of party members between Syria and Lebanon, was killed, and another was seriously injured" yesterday evening in the Abbasiya neighborhood in the city of Homs in central Syria after they clashed with a security patrol affiliated with the "Military Intelligence", on the outskirts of the neighborhood from the southern side.

In the details of the incident, the SOHR reported that "members of a security patrol affiliated with the Military Intelligence tried to arrest the two party members who refused to comply with the patrol's orders, and one of them brandished a war pistol, which prompted the patrol members to shoot them directly."

The SOHR indicated that the Abbasiya neighborhood is considered "the most prominent place for the party and the popular incubator loyal to it inside the city of Homs, and includes many elements."
