8 killed in separate incidents across Syria in 24 hours

Eight people, including women, a child, and a teenage boy, were killed in separate security and criminal incidents across different parts of Syria over the past 24 hours. The incidents included shootings, a landmine explosion, murder, and an alleged arson attack.

According to ANHA correspondents, eight people were killed in separate incidents across several Syrian provinces during the past 24 hours.

In the Damascus countryside, a young man in his twenties was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the town of al-Ruhaybah.

In the city of Darayya, the bodies of two sisters and a 12-year-old girl were found inside an apartment near al-Namous gas station. The victims had sustained multiple stab wounds to different parts of their bodies.

In the northern countryside of Aleppo, a member of the Ministry of Defense under the interim government was killed after being shot by two unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle near a security checkpoint between the village of Qubbat al-Sheikh and the town of Tarhin.

Meanwhile, an elderly Kurdish man was found shot dead among olive groves in the village of Khalnira in the Afrin region.

In Sweida, a teenage boy was killed in a landmine explosion near the village of Umm al-Rumman, south of the city. In a separate incident, a young girl, Lujain Anwar al-Qantar, died from her injuries after reportedly telling others before her death that her uncle had poured gasoline over her body and set her on fire inside her grandfather's home in the city of Sweida.
