7 people killed in different areas in Syria

3 people were killed, including two brothers, who were kidnapped near al-Asil roundabout in Karm al-Loz neighborhood in Homs city, while returning from a restaurant. The other, whose identity is unknown, was killed in one of the farms of Morek in the countryside of Hama city, where they were executed in the field by unknown gunmen.

In Lattakia governorate, residents found the body of an 80-year-old elderly man shot dead in his home in the village of al-Maqati, while a young man in his thirties was killed in mysterious circumstances, his body was found handcuffed near the Jableh beach, two days after his kidnapping.

In a separate incident, two Shiite brothers from the village of Umm al-Amad in the eastern countryside of Homs were killed in mysterious circumstances after being kidnapped by unknown assailants while heading to the city of Homs on February 6.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the number of killings and liquidations since the beginning of 2025 in Syria has reached 135, killing 263 people, including 256 men, 6 women, and one child.
