Protests against Tishreen Dam in the southern countryside of Kobani have continued since January 8, with groups taking turns participating in the protest activity.

Since the protests began, civil groups from the cities of al-Jazira, Euphrates, Deir-ez-Zor, Raqqa and Tabqa canton have participated.

The people of Kobani continue their protest activity against Tishreen Dam, after the people of Raqqa, Tabqa and Deir-ez-Zor cantons returned to their cities.

The protesting civilians were targeted more than once by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, which led to the martyrdom of 24 people and the injury of more than 200 others.
