7 killed in Syria within one day

Several areas across Syria witnessed a series of security and criminal incidents yesterday, Sunday, resulting in the death of seven people under different circumstances, including accidental gunfire, killings, armed clashes, and tribal conflicts.

In the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, a civilian died after being hit by a stray bullet that was fired accidentally in the town of Abu Hamam.

In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, a young man was killed after being struck by a stray bullet during an exchange of fire between a smuggler and a customs patrol on the al-Bab–Manbij road.

In the western countryside of Daraa, a young man died from injuries sustained in a dispute that escalated into the use of weapons in the village of Beit Ara, while another young man was killed during armed clashes that erupted over a tribal dispute in the Yarmouk Basin area.

In the Hama countryside, the body of a young man was found murdered in the village of al-Dardara, three days after he was reported missing under what were described as mysterious circumstances.

In the city of Homs, two separate killing incidents were recorded in the al-Arman neighborhood, where one person was killed while attempting to target a butcher shop, and another was killed after being directly shot by an armed man inside his shop in the same area.
