6 killed, including 2 security personnel, in Syria within 24 hours

Various areas across Syria witnessed the deaths of six people on Tuesday under different circumstances, including two members of the interim government’s forces, according to monitoring by our agency.

In eastern Aleppo countryside, a member of the interim government’s forces was killed after a hand grenade he was carrying exploded in al-Sarb neighborhood of Manbij.

In the northern Daraa countryside, a member of the Internal Security Forces was killed after being accidentally shot in the city of al-Harah.

Meanwhile, in Damascus countryside, a young man was killed after being shot near the al-Jisr station in the town of Sabina. Another young man from the city of al-Ruhaiba was killed after being targeted by gunmen riding two motorcycles in the city of Al-Qutayfah.

In Deir ez-Zor, armed tribal clashes that erupted in the town of al-Izbah, north of the province, over tribal disputes resulted in the death of one person.

In Sweida province, a young woman was killed after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head in the town of al-Raha, south of the city, in an incident whose circumstances remain unclear.
