Early this morning, 46 wounded men and women from Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh in Aleppo reached hospitals in Raqqa Canton after they were evacuated from the neighborhoods in the early hours of the day.

The wounded were transferred to Martyr Kendal Military Hospital and Raqqa Hospital to receive medical care.

Meanwhile, 35 wounded from Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh arrived in the city of Hasakah, and more are expected to arrive in the coming hours.

On January 6, mercenaries of the interim government, affiliated with the Turkish occupation, launched attacks on the predominantly Kurdish neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh in Aleppo, using various types of heavy weapons to bombard civilians. Drones belonging to the Turkish occupation state also carried out multiple strikes on the neighborhoods, resulting in dozens of martyrs and hundreds of injured.
