 The death toll from mine explosions in Damascus government areas has risen since the beginning of the year to 58 people, including women and children.

2 people were killed and another was injured as a result of the explosion of a landmine left over from the war in the car they were traveling in, in the Al-Raharaha area, east of Wadi Al-Atheeb, in the northeastern countryside of Salamiyah, in the Hama countryside, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In a similar incident, a young man was injured due to the explosion of a mine left over from the war while he was searching for truffle mushrooms in the Jaideen desert, west of Raqqa.

 It is noteworthy that the two explosions occurred within areas under the control of Damascus forces.
