The People's Defense Forces announced that they managed to eliminate 36 soldiers during 97 operations against the Turkish occupying state.

In a statement from the media center of the People's Defense Forces, which revealed the results for the month of October, it was noted that the forces seized a large amount of ammunition.

The statement added, "The Kurdistan Freedom Forces engaged in legitimate defense of our people against all attacks by the Turkish fascist state in October. The forces resisted strongly, facing challenges with effective operations.

The guerrilla struggle significantly intensified in October, a month that witnessed the martyrdom of leading commander Beritan Kelnaz Karatash. Additionally, the Free Women's Army and the Free Women's Units - Star were established. Inspired by the footsteps of Comrade Beritan and all the martyrs of October, our fighters executed effective operations.

The Turkish occupation forces continued their invasion attacks on all of the Medya defense areas, especially the regions in N. Kurdistan, without interruption. Despite failing in N. Kurdistan, the Turkish occupation army heavily bombarded the Medya defense areas in October. They conducted 302 air raids, 347 attacks with attack helicopters, one chemical weapons attack, two drone bombings, and 101 attacks with banned explosives. The Turkish army, committing war crimes by using forbidden weapons and constant bombing, was met with resilient resistance from the Kurdistan Freedom Fighters, who thwarted these attacks by the Turkish fascist war criminals. Simultaneously, the fighters carried out the necessary response to the occupation army's assaults, executing a total of 97 operations employing various tactics with great precision. These operations included one airstrike and 96 ground operations, resulting in the deaths of 36 Turkish soldiers, including one high-ranking officer, and injuries to 11 others.

Undoubtedly, the operation by our forces in the Battalion of the Immortals against the TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries) death machine center in Ankara on October 23, 2024, shook the Turkish state and caught it off-guard. This flawless, exemplary, and successful martyrdom operation, carried out by comrades Asiya Ali and Rojkar Helen, struck the enemy at its heart. The fact that our martyrdom comrades overcame all kinds of obstacles and reached Turkey's capital, Ankara, to achieve their goal with unmatched determination and courage, proved that Apoist (PKK) martyrdom fighters are unstoppable when they set a target. Comrades Asiya and Rojkar, the Apoist martyrdom fighters, struck the gendarmerie, paramilitary mercenaries, army, Turkish special forces, and special gendarmerie forces in central Ankara. They achieved their goal, held the forces under control for 74 minutes, and fought heroically, causing the enemy great distress. According to information from two sources regarding the results of the operation against TAI, 40 enemy members were killed, and more than 100 were injured. The comrades from the Immortals Battalion, Asiya and Rojkar, elevated the standards of PKK martyrdom that began with the Amed Prison resistance and transformed with the Zelan operation to the highest level. The courage, military strategy, professionalism, and epic heroism demonstrated by Asiya and Rojkar during their martyrdom operation brought the Apoist style of martyrdom struggle to new heights. Despite efforts by the Turkish fascist state to downplay the impact of this operation, these efforts failed; the Immortals Battalion operation reverberated worldwide, delivering a clear message to our people, friends, and foes alike.

Our martyrdom comrades Asiya and Rojkar, who left us all with profound and significant messages, reminded us of our duties with their impactful and meaningful statements. They showed how Apoist martyrdom fighters could defeat a fascist army. This operation also underscored that the decisive factors in war are not numbers, weapons, ammunition, resources, or conditions but rather the spirit of martyrdom, correct way of life, intelligence, creativity, proper application, and professionalism. In this sense, they showed how individuals embodying the Apoist martyrdom spirit and true camaraderie, embodying the standards of free men and women, can achieve greatness.

The fact that this martyrdom operation took place a few days before the anniversary of the martyrdom of Comrade Beritan gave it additional significance, once again revealing the powerful stance of Apoist martyrdom against surrender and betrayal. Comrade Asiya Ali, the Apoist martyrdom fighter, became the embodiment of female comrades following in Beritan's footsteps, who fought for freedom in prisons and struck the enemy at its heart. Through her historical operation, Comrade Asiya exemplified the level of the free Kurdish woman and the greatness of women's struggle for freedom, showcasing her love for freedom, her dedication, leadership, determination on the Apoist path, military prowess, and her efforts to elevate the standards of free life as an undeniable reality. Driven by Kurdish love, she reached the pinnacle of expressing free Kurdish love with her struggle and operation, becoming a symbol of it.

We remember all our martyrs with sincerity, respect, and love, especially comrades Asiya Ali, Rojkar Helen, and Mamad Cudi, who were martyred in October. As Kurdistan Freedom Fighters, we renew our pledge to follow in the footsteps of our martyrs and crown their struggle with victory.
