28 mercenaries killed, 5 armored vehicles destroyed in countryside of Manbij, Qereqozaqê

The SDF Media Center released a statement detailing the latest military developments and their forces' response to attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in the countryside of Manbij, Qereqozaqê Bridge in the Euphrates Canton, and Deir Hafir in the Tabqa Canton. The statement read:

"Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries continue to launch aggressive attacks on the areas of NE Syria, using various types of weaponry, including warplanes, drones, tanks, artillery, and heavy weapons. However, they face strong resistance from our fighters, who repel all their assaults.

At 12:45 PM on Monday, the Turkish occupation's mercenaries launched an attack on the ‘Abu Said Farm,’ southeast of Manbij, using BMB vehicles and armored vehicles. Fierce clashes erupted between our fighters and the mercenaries. The Martyr Haroun Units also targeted the mercenaries' gatherings, causing several casualties, forcing them to retreat.

The mercenaries launched a second assault, which was met with a strong response from our forces. The clashes continued until the early evening hours, resulting in:

1. Destruction of 5 armored vehicles.

2. Destruction of 2 military trucks.

3. Targeting 17 gathering points of the mercenaries.

Our forces also carried out precision operations targeting the mercenaries' gatherings and positions. Each time the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries suffer heavy blows from our forces, they resort to aerial bombardment using warplanes and drones, which intensively shelled the area, injuring four of our fighters.

During the clashes, 23 mercenaries were confirmed killed, and 24 others injured, including 10 with severe injuries.

On the Qereqozaqê front, our forces targeted mercenary positions in the villages of ‘Qabr Emo’ and around ‘Syriatel Hill,’ killing five mercenaries and injuring 12 others.

Turkish warplanes resumed targeting several populated villages, including ‘Bir Hasso’ and ‘Rolla Hill,’ near Qereqozaqê Bridge, as well as the Serrin Airport and silos. However, the bombardment caused no significant damage. Simultaneously, the Turkish occupation shelled the villages of ‘Bir Hasso, Jaddah, Nour Ali, Kark, and Al-Tinah,’ as well as areas near Qereqozaqê Bridge, with heavy weapons.

On the Deir Hafir front, the Turkish occupation’s drones targeted one of our positions three times, but no damage was reported. Additionally, four suicide drones targeted the village of ‘Al-Maftahiya.’ Our fighters shot down one of them, while the other three exploded without causing any damage. A drone also targeted an Internal Security Forces point in the village of Dibsi Afnan, but no damage resulted. Another suicide drone was downed by our fighters, while the Martyr Haroun Units targeted mercenary positions in the village of ‘Al-Imam,’ carrying out four operations against their gatherings. However, the number of casualties among the mercenaries remains unknown.

The total number of mercenary casualties yesterday reached 28 killed and 36 wounded, including 10 with serious injuries. Additionally, 5 armored vehicles and 2 military vehicles were destroyed. Our forces carried out 24 strikes targeting mercenary gatherings, and a suicide drone belonging to the mercenaries was shot down. Meanwhile, 4 of our fighters were injured, and contact was lost with three others."
