27 citizens kidnapped in Afrin, its countryside within 10 days

The Violations Documentation Center published a list containing the names of 27 people from the villages and city of occupied Afrin, who were kidnapped by mercenaries of the Turkish occupying state within 10 days of the current month of October.

The Violations Documentation Center documented the names of 27 citizens who were kidnapped at various times and locations in the villages and neighborhoods of the occupied city of Afrin, at the hands of mercenaries of the Turkish occupying state during the month of October. The details of the kidnappings, according to the center, are as follows:

“October 1, 2024:

Mercenaries of the National Army, "Military Police, Police, Al-Amshat, Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya", kidnapped dozens of citizens in Afrin and its villages. The following names were documented: Suleiman Mahmoud Walid, 47 years old; Mohammed Mahmoud bin Manan, 40 years old; Kolin Mohammed Sheikh Abdi, 28 years old; Nidal Qalandar, 41 years old; Abdullah Hussein Ali; Ghassan Mohammed Asaqra; Khaled Obeid Mustafa, 44 years old; Juwan Hamid bin Nazmi, 41 years old; Salah Hanan Omar, 53 years old; Kawa Mustafa Mustafa, 40 years old; Qahraman Mustafa Hassan, 50 years old; Mohammed Haidar Ibrahim, 70 years old.

The National Army mercenaries, "Military Police", kidnapped citizen Mohammed Mustafa Hassan, 48 years old, from the village of Sinara and took him to an unknown destination without any information about his fate.

October 2, 2024:

The National Army mercenaries, "Military Police", kidnapped citizen Mohammed Ali Sido Alu, in his 60s, from his home in the village of Kila, part of Bulbula, and citizen Haitham Osman bin Izzat, 40 years old, from the village of Khaziyaniyah, part of Mobata, and took them to an unknown destination.

October 3, 2024:

The National Army mercenaries, "Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya", kidnapped Kurdish citizen Mohammed Arif Sobhi, 46 years old, from the village of Jindiresh, from their checkpoint located between the villages of Qastel Jando, part of Sharran, and Maarin, west of Azaz in rural Aleppo. He was taken to an unknown destination.

October 5, 2024:

The National Army mercenaries, "Hamzat Division", kidnapped citizen Mohammed Hussein Hussein, 45 years old, due to his demand to retrieve his home in the Ashrafiya neighborhood of Afrin, which has been occupied by a Hamzat mercenary since 2018. His family lives in a tent near the water tank in the neighborhood, and he was transferred to a prison in Azaz.

October 6, 2024:

The National Army mercenaries, "Military Police", kidnapped citizen Nouri Mohammed Al-Eisi while he was extracting a personal ID card at the local council in Afrin. He had returned from Lebanon about five days prior.

October 8, 2024:

The National Army mercenaries, "Border Guards", kidnapped citizens Ahmed Bitar and Maher Mahmoud from Hama while they were attempting to cross into Turkish territory near the village of "Bikah," part of Bulbula. They were taken to an unknown destination.

The National Army mercenaries in Azaz, "Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya", kidnapped citizens Said Hassan Alu, 58 years old, and his nephew Ali Khalil Alu, 31 years old, from the town of Bulbula in rural Afrin, while they were returning home fleeing from the war in Lebanon.

October 9, 2024:

The National Army mercenaries, “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya”, kidnapped citizen Mohammed Osman Youssef, 36 years old, from the village of Joukiah in rural Afrin, in the Azaz area.

The National Army mercenaries kidnapped Kurdish citizen Hassan Mustafa Sido Salan, 29 years old, from the village of Maska, part of Jindiresh in rural Afrin.

The National Army mercenaries, "Military Police", kidnapped citizen Rifaat Jaafar bin Mustafa, 55 years old, from the village of Kondi Mizan in Sherawa district. He was kidnapped from the Taranda road checkpoint, south of Afrin, after returning from Lebanon to escape the war.

October 10, 2024:

The National Army mercenaries kidnapped teacher Hussein Haj Abdo, 44 years old, for the second time. He is from the village of Kafr Safra, part of Jindiresh in rural Afrin.

The National Army mercenaries, "Civil Police", raided the home of engineer Nouri Mustafa Sido, 60 years old, in Jindiresh, and kidnapped him, taking him to an unknown destination.”
