The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 22 people were killed and dozens injured in Homs, where villages and towns inhabited by Alawite, Shiite, and Murshidi citizens witnessed serious violations and horrific crimes over the past 72 hours. These operations were carried out by local armed groups affiliated with the administration of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham against civilians.

These violations included random arrest campaigns targeting dozens of individuals, who were subjected to humiliation and brutal torture. In addition, religious symbols were attacked, representing a clear violation of humanitarian values. The situation escalated to acts of mutilation of corpses and field executions, reflecting an unprecedented level of brutality and violence, according to the Observatory.

The Observatory confirmed, citing sources, that local militants are conducting retaliatory operations and settling old scores against minority members without regard for the law, taking advantage of the state of chaos and widespread availability of weapons.

In the countryside of Homs, 10 crimes were recorded over the past 72 hours, according to the Observatory's documentation, resulting in the deaths of 22 people, most of whom were killed by armed groups. This reflects a dangerous escalation in the intensity of these retaliatory operations.
