 2 members of the Lebanese Hezbollah were killed in an Israeli strike near the Syrian-Lebanese border between Homs and the Damascus countryside.

Israel targeted, with an air missile, a civilian truck near the Syrian-Lebanese border, within an area overlapping between Homs and the Damascus countryside, during the early morning hours, which led to the killing of at least 2 people.

Since the beginning of the year 2024, the Observatory has counted 16 times during which Israel has targeted Syrian territory, 10 of which were air strikes and 6 were ground strikes, These strikes resulted in the injury and destruction of about 34 targets, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, centers, and vehicles.​

These strikes caused the death of 35 soldiers, in addition to wounding 13 others, including 9 civilians, in Israeli attacks.

The targets were distributed as follows: 8 for Damascus and its countryside, 5 for Daraa, 2 for Homs, and 1 for Quneitra.
