19 wanted arrested during security operation in Tabqa

The Internal Security Forces in the North and East Syria region announced the arrest of 19 individuals wanted by the judiciary in Tabqa canton, during a security operation carried out on Saturday, which also resulted in the seizure of weapons, ammunition and military equipment that were in their possession.

On Friday, the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria conducted a precise security operation in Tabqa canton, targeting hideouts of wanted individuals involved in acts of sabotage that threaten the security of residents and the stability of the region.

The operation resulted in the arrest of 19 individuals wanted by the judiciary, after their involvement in carrying out and participating in previous acts of sabotage was proven.

During the raids and searches, quantities of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment; five Kalashnikov rifles, two pump-action shotguns, two hunting rifles, 70 rounds of Kalashnikov, 13 ammunition magazines, 23 kilograms of gunpowder, and one piston were seized.

In a statement, the Internal Security Forces affirmed their continued pursuit of all those who attempt to undermine the security and stability of the region, emphasizing their commitment to carrying out qualitative and decisive operations to protect the citizens and their property, and to maintain the safety and security of the community.
