On Saturday, Sweida witnessed a protest despite harsh and rainy weather conditions, demanding the return of abductees, particularly minors around 17 years old, amid mothers' desperate pleas for their children's return, which they have launched since years.

The participants emphasized the need to reopen the investigation into mass graves, uncover the fate of the missing, and hold those responsible for abductions and enforced disappearances accountable.

The event also featured children who presented a symbolic performance expressing their yearning for the childhood they lost during the events of "Black July," which was accompanied by the loss of education, displacement, and the destruction of villages.

The protesters carried banners demanding the return of abductees, and guaranteeing the safe return of residents to their affected villages, affirming the continuation of their peaceful demonstrations until their legitimate humanitarian demands are met.
